Fellowship Halloween Challange Updates
Curses!!!!!Curses!!!!!Curses!!!!!
Recent events have kept many of our number away from our workbenches. Unfortunate but unavoidable. After all, this is a hobby for us and sometimes life has a way of throwing us curveballs every once in a while that need our attention more.
In that regard, I have decided to make a few adjustments the Halloween Challange. The changes are as follows:
1. The deadline for the contest has been extended until November 12, 2010. This gives all who are participating an extra two weeks to get their entries done. Like before, just bring you entry(ies) to the Novemeber 12 meeting instead.
This is actually good as it means we all get to celebrate Halloween for 2 full weeks instead of just one meager day.
2. I've also updated the contest rules to allow for the use of aftermarket accesories, etc. with the basic kits. While the figure model itself still must meet the "styrene" challange, feel free to think outside of the box a little by adding additonal flavor by creating a custom base, a devious diorama, etc. out of resin, vinyl, etc. Another words, spruce things up a bit if you like. Let your inner mad scientist be your guide.
So there you have it. A few minor changes, but for the better I hope. Now get busy my devious apprentices, tidy up the dungeon worktables and finish up those nightmares!!!!!!!!!!!!
